Booking your bridal makeup with Elise means you agree to the terms below. Please take a moment to read through them before submitting your enquiry.

Travel

Elise is based in Auckland and travels throughout New Zealand for weddings.

• Travel fees apply for all locations outside central Auckland.

• Please refer to the travel fee’s tab for a full breakdown.

• For larger bridal parties, an assistant artist may be required. Additional assistants incur their own travel fee.

Waiheke Island bookings include a travel fee per artist to cover return ferry fare + passengers, car ferry and travel time.

Weddings Outside Auckland

Elise is available for destination weddings anywhere in New Zealand and internationally. Travel and accommodation costs are quoted individually depending on the location and booking requirements.

Public Holiday Bookings

A 10% surcharge applies to all bookings scheduled on New Zealand public holidays.

Booking Deposit

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your wedding date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance is due one week before your wedding via bank transfer.

Trials

Bridal trials are a non-negotiable when booking with Elise. These can be booked separately.

Each trial includes:

• One complete makeup look.

• One hairstyle (if booked as a hair and makeup trial).

If you'd like to try multiple looks or book an additional trial, an extra fee will apply. Trial appointments are non-refundable.

Makeup & Hair Services

Each booking includes one agreed hairstyle and/or one makeup look per person. If you decide to change your look on the day after the service has started, additional styling may not be possible and may incur an extra charge.

Photos & Social Media

Elise loves sharing beautiful moments from her weddings on social media and her portfolio, including behind-the-scenes content and professional images shared by your photographer.

If you'd prefer your wedding not be featured, simply let Elise know before your wedding day and your wishes will always be respected.

Timing on the Day

A personalised run sheet will be created before your wedding to help the morning run smoothly.

Please note:

• Timings are an estimate and can vary depending on the chosen look, hair type and skin preparation.

• Everyone in the bridal party should be ready when it's their turn, even if the schedule is running ahead of time.

• Elise isn't responsible for delays caused by late bridal party members or changes made on the day.

• Last-minute timing changes within the week of your wedding may not always be possible.

Cancellations

As wedding dates are reserved exclusively for you, the following cancellation policy applies:

• The booking deposit is non-refundable.

• This deposit reserves your date and covers the administration and planning involved in your booking. We understand that plans can change. However, as wedding bookings are often made well in advance and dates are reserved exclusively for you, the following cancellation terms apply.

• Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the wedding date require payment of 50% of the remaining booking total.

• Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the wedding date require payment of the full remaining balance.

If you need to cancel within 72 hours of your booking, cancellation must be made via phone or email.

Cancellations by Elise Wilson Beauty

In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfil your booking due to illness, emergency or unforeseen circumstances, Elise will make every reasonable effort to arrange a suitable replacement artist. If a replacement cannot be arranged, you will receive a full refund of all payments made for services she is unable to provide.

These terms do not limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or other applicable consumer law.

Changes to Your Booking

If you'd like to add services or bridal party members, Elise will always do her best to accommodate you. However, changes requested within two weeks of the wedding may not be possible due to existing bookings and scheduling.

Parking

Any parking costs associated with your booking are payable by the client. For hotel bookings, parking arrangements will be discussed and quoted in advance where possible.

Assistant Artists

For larger bridal parties, Elise works with a trusted team of experienced assistant artists. An assistant artist fee of $150 plus travel applies when required.

Allergies & Skin Sensitivities

Please let Elise know before your appointment if you have any allergies, sensitivities or products you need to avoid.

If you have a product you know works best for your skin, you're welcome to bring it along and it can be used during your appointment.

Your booking is only confirmed once Elise has sent a confirmation email and your deposit has been received.
