I'm Elise, a professional hair and makeup artist and beauty editor with more than 18 years of experience.

English-born and bred, I spent 11 years in New Zealand building my career in magazines, makeup and all things beauty in my 20s before swapping Auckland for Sydney, where I spent almost a decade as a makeup artist, Beauty Editor and Columnist across some of Australia's biggest media titles.

My love affair with hair and makeup started long before my journalism career took off, though. I've been working professionally as an artist since 2008, with my brushes taking me everywhere from bridal suites and editorial shoots to backstage at New Zealand and Australia Fashion Weeks.

And now I've come full circle and returned to the city that stole my heart. Auckland.

I'm so excited to be back offering mobile hair, makeup and spray tanning for weddings, special occasions, TV and commercial shoots. As well as sharing my beauty and media expertise for beauty and lifestyle brands seeking editorial, PR, hosting, consulting and copywriting support.
